Downsizing CAN be an enjoyable journey down memory lane.
Sharing items and stories with family members, revisiting memories is an important part of the process. Stories help identify ‘stuff’ from what really matters to you! If space is limited, decluttering can open up prime areas!
Where do you spend most of your time in your home, what furniture is no longer functional? Start the process soon to keep your home safer, more comfortable, and cozy while getting rid of the clutter and junk.
We then work out what items are no longer functional, while getting rid of junk.
Items are given to family, sold, donated or taken to refuse Centre.
TIP: Start small, with a realistic, achievable goal such as a drawer, or a closet. Downsize, don’t shift things around. If you haven’t used it in 2 years, you (really) don’t need it. Remember your goal, stay focused. You’ll feel good, and get into a pattern before you know it you’ll be ready to tackle a full room
